Manifestations

For anyone that knows the true history behind how the Virgin de Guadalupe manifested herself in the New World nearly 400 years ago, there is little doubt that not only the symbol but the essence behind the symbol is one of unrequited and undying spiritual power.  Long revered by the Aztecs for centuries before the Spanish arrived on the shores of Latin America, Tonantznin, was the holy virgin mother to not only themselves, but to myriad Pre Columbian cultures across the continent.  Of course the archetype of the virgin mother and the sacred feminine has presented itself in countless ways the world over for thousands of years.  The Virgin De Guadalupe just happens to be one of the most recent and most beautifully rendered incarnations in and around our modern day culture.  Oddly enough, more of less out of nowhere she manifested herself in my life years and years ago in a major way… and I have never been the same since.  Below are just a few scant samples of how and where she impacts my life on a daily basis…
